Head-to-head Dota 2 7.41f win rate from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Necrophos wins the Necrophos vs Ursa matchup: Necrophos beats Ursa in 54.10% of 42,216 ranked matches.
Believing Necrophos is an easy kill is a common mistake for an Ursa player. He'll commit everything, only for Necrophos to use Ghost Shroud and become immune to the physical burst. Suddenly Ursa is stuck on a target he can't damage, all while Heartstopper Aura eats away at his health. Necrophos can then kite and sustain with Death Pulse, turning what looked like a sure kill into a reversal where Ursa is the one running for his life.
This dynamic forces Ursa to build a Nullifier, often delaying more important items. Before he gets one, Necrophos can play aggressively and push lanes with little fear of being punished alone. In teamfights, Ursa has to be extremely careful; getting worn down by anyone makes him a perfect target for Reaper's Scythe. Necrophos gets to dictate the terms of the fight, while Ursa is forced to find a specific window or item timing to even have a chance.
