Night Stalker vs Nyx Assassin

How this matchup plays

Applying Crippling Fear to a gank attempt is often the key to this matchup. Nyx Assassin relies on chaining his spells after breaking Vendetta, but Night Stalker’s silence can completely disrupt that sequence. This forces the Nyx player to either back off or hope their target is fragile enough to die to the initial hit alone. Since Night Stalker is naturally durable and gets even tougher, he's a poor primary target. He can usually survive Nyx's opening burst and then turn the fight with his superior attack speed and vision at night. While a well-played Nyx can still find openings with Spiked Carapace, Night Stalker's ability to dictate engagements after dark gives him a consistent lean.
