Night Stalker vs Weaver

How this matchup plays

Picking a fragile, elusive hero into a long silence is always a risk. Weaver’s entire kit is built around mobility and undoing mistakes with Shukuchi and Time Lapse. Night Stalker’s Crippling Fear simply turns all of that off for an extended duration. Without his spells, Weaver is an extremely easy hero to burst down. He can't juke, can't escape, and can't rewind the damage being piled on him. It's a direct counter to the core mechanics that let the hero function.

This dynamic defines the game from the first night onwards. Night Stalker will actively hunt Weaver, using the darkness to find an opening. During Dark Ascension, the reduced vision makes it even harder for Weaver to react before he’s already silenced and slowed. Weaver's only real plan is to play incredibly safe, group with his team, and rush a defensive item that might break the silence or block the initial spell. Until then, every step out of position is a potential death.
