How this matchup plays

Choosing one of these heroes to face the other is a calculated risk, especially since they can also be strong allies. As opponents, Nyx Assassin has the right tools to dismantle Snapfire’s game plan. Mana Burn directly attacks her limited mana pool, making it harder for her to use spells like Firesnap Cookie for escapes or setups. More importantly, Spiked Carapace acts as a perfect trap. If Snapfire tries to burst him down with Scatterblast at close range, she often ends up stunning herself, giving Nyx Assassin a free opening to turn the fight around.

This threat forces Snapfire to play with caution from the very start.
