Head-to-head Dota 2 7.41f win rate from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Outworld Destroyer wins the Outworld Destroyer vs Shadow Demon matchup: Outworld Destroyer beats Shadow Demon in 57.37% of 11,038 ranked matches.
Saving an ally from Sanity's Eclipse with Disruption is a classic play, and it often works. The issue for Shadow Demon is what happens in the rest of the fight. The illusions he creates are a massive liability against Outworld Destroyer, providing easy targets that melt instantly and feed him mana if he uses Astral Imprisonment on them. This makes it difficult for SD to contribute meaningful damage or chaos. While a well-timed Disruption can prevent a kill, Outworld Destroyer’s ability to control the fight, burn through a single target, and punish the illusions gives him a consistent, if small, advantage across the game.
