Outworld Destroyer vs Snapfire

How this matchup plays

Pushing high ground against a Snapfire can feel stalled. Her Mortimer Kisses forces Outworld Destroyer to constantly reposition instead of focusing down a tower or barracks, slowing his team's tempo. She can effectively deny him the static positioning he needs to apply pressure with Arcane Orb. On the other hand, Snapfire is very fragile. If OD manages to close the distance, she dies almost instantly. Her main escape, Firesnap Cookie, is a decent tool for creating space, but it’s often not enough if Outworld Destroyer gets the jump on her with an item like a Blink Dagger.

The matchup often becomes a game of vision and positioning. Snapfire's team wants to set up fights where she can safely channel her ultimate from the fog, zoning OD's team and making it impossible for him to approach. Outworld Destroyer's side will look for a pick-off on a different hero or wait for Snapfire to show herself, creating an opening to blink in and delete her from the fight. Astral Imprisonment can also be used defensively to save an ally caught by Snapfire's burst, buying enough time for a turnaround and making an all-in very risky for her.
