Omniknight vs Snapfire

How this matchup plays

Trying to finish off a target protected by Omniknight can be frustrating, but Snapfire has the right tools for the job. A lot of her damage is magical, most notably from Mortimer Kisses, which completely ignores the physical immunity of Guardian Angel. This means Snapfire can often secure kills on key targets even when Omniknight uses his ultimate to try and save them. While Guardian Angel does stop the physical damage from a Lil' Shredder-buffed Snapfire, her primary contribution in that situation is often the magical burst that gets through anyway.

The matchup isn't one-sided, though. Omniknight's Heavenly Grace is an excellent answer to the slows from both Mortimer Kisses and Lil' Shredder, allowing an ally to reposition or even turn and fight back. Fights often come down to which hero gets to dictate the engagement. If Snapfire can set up her ultimate from a safe distance, she forces a reaction. If Omniknight’s team can initiate on her first, she’s fragile and lacks escape. The outcome really depends on positioning and which team executes their plan better.
