Omniknight vs Vengeful Spirit

How this matchup plays

Playing around Guardian Angel becomes simpler with Vengeful Spirit on the enemy team. Omniknight wants to keep his team clustered to maximize his ultimate's impact, but Nether Swap directly punishes this. A key core can be pulled out of the protective radius, or Omniknight himself can be isolated and removed from the fight before he can cast his spell. While Heavenly Grace can dispel some setup stuns, it can't prevent the instant repositioning from Swap. This core disruption is something few heroes can provide so reliably, forcing the entire Omniknight team to play with the constant threat of being split apart.

Throughout the game, this dynamic means Omniknight has to be extremely careful with his positioning. He is often forced to play further back, trying to anticipate who Vengeful Spirit will target. A good Venge player will try to bait out Guardian Angel on a less important hero before swapping the real target. It becomes a game of chicken over who uses their big spell first. If Vengeful Spirit misplays the Swap, or if Omniknight successfully predicts it, the fight can swing the other way. The advantage isn't overwhelming, but it puts the burden of reaction on the Omniknight.
