Pangolier vs Primal Beast

Picking Pangolier into a Primal Beast means you have to think hard about their ultimates. Primal Beast’s Pulverize goes through magic immunity, giving him a direct tool to cancel Pangolier’s Rolling Thunder. Having a reliable way to stop the ball is a big deal, as it's often Pangolier's main way to control a fight. Beyond that, Pangolier's multi-hit spells like Swashbuckle are great for charging up Primal Beast’s Uproar passive. This means that by trying to do damage, Pangolier can inadvertently make Primal Beast significantly tankier and harder to bring down for the entire team.

As the game goes on, this interaction shapes how teamfights unfold.
