Head-to-head Dota 2 7.41f win rate from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Pangolier wins the Pangolier vs Shadow Demon matchup: Pangolier beats Shadow Demon in 52.79% of 3,995 ranked matches.
Catching Pangolier feels almost impossible for Shadow Demon. Swashbuckle lets Pangolier dodge the Disruption setup and makes stacking Shadow Poison very difficult. If Pango gets on top of Shadow Demon, the fight is usually over quickly given how fragile he is. While Demonic Purge is a perfect counter to Rolling Thunder, this forces Shadow Demon to hold his ultimate for a single spell. Pangolier can often bait it out or simply fight effectively with his basic abilities, using Swashbuckle to clear illusions and stay on top of targets. Shadow Demon is a squishy hero with no escape, making him a prime target for a mobile assassin like Pangolier throughout the game.
