Pangolier vs Snapfire

How this matchup plays

Trying to chain-stun a whole team with Rolling Thunder feels like it should work, but things get complicated when Snapfire is on the other side. It's not about stopping the roll itself. Instead, she can use Firesnap Cookie to launch an ally who gets stunned by Pangolier, effectively saving them from the follow-up damage. This breaks the initiation chain before it really gets going. On top of that, a well-placed Mortimer Kisses ultimate can make the entire area that Pangolier wants to roll through a deadly-slow fire pit, forcing him to either cancel his roll or take a huge amount of damage.

This means the Pangolier player has a much harder time setting up fights. Instead of a clean multi-hero stun, he might only catch one person who immediately gets repositioned to safety. The fight then has to be re-evaluated on the fly. This forces Pangolier to either try and burst Snapfire down first or wait for her to use her spells, which gives her team valuable time to react. The whole dynamic relies on Snapfire’s positioning and cooldowns, so it’s not a lock, but it consistently complicates Pangolier's main job.
