Pangolier vs Tiny

How this matchup plays

Trying to burst Pangolier is a frustrating experience for Tiny. The standard Avalanche and Toss combo is often completely nullified by Pangolier's kit. He can use Swashbuckle to reposition and dodge the initial stun, or pop Shield Crash to absorb a huge chunk of the damage if he does get caught. Even if Tiny gets the jump, Pangolier can usually activate Rolling Thunder and escape before the kill is secured. Tiny lacks the reliable, instant lockdown needed to pin down a hero this mobile, leaving him feeling ineffective whenever they meet on the map.

This dynamic means Pangolier often plays without fear of Tiny. He can farm more aggressively and split push lanes, knowing Tiny can't punish him alone. For Tiny to get a kill, he needs to coordinate with allies who have better disables. In teamfights, Pangolier gets to disrupt the entire enemy team with his roll, while Tiny is forced to either ignore him or waste his long cooldowns on a target that will almost certainly get away. Pangolier dictates the terms of engagement, leaving Tiny to react.
