Primal Beast vs Snapfire

How this matchup plays

Saving an ally from Primal Beast's charge often comes down to a well-timed Firesnap Cookie. The forced movement and stun from Snapfire can interrupt his Onslaught or push him away from a target he's trying to Pulverize, buying crucial seconds. However, this interaction is a double-edged sword. If Primal Beast catches Snapfire while her Cookie is on cooldown or if she mispositions for even a moment, his charge and follow-up damage are more than enough to kill her before she can react. Her point-blank Scatterblast can slow him down, but it's rarely enough to stop a committed attack.

Throughout the game, this creates a tense standoff. The Primal Beast player is constantly looking for an opening, trying to bait out the Cookie or find an angle that bypasses Snapfire's defensive positioning. He has to respect her ability to peel for her teammates. Meanwhile, Snapfire is forced to play cautiously, holding her key spell for his initiation. This can limit her own aggression, as using the Cookie offensively might leave her team vulnerable moments later. The result is that neither hero can reliably execute their game plan without the other's consent.
