Head-to-head Dota 2 7.41f win rate from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Primal Beast wins the Primal Beast vs Treant Protector matchup: Primal Beast beats Treant Protector in 52.28% of 4,329 ranked matches.
Thinking Overgrowth will stop a charging Primal Beast is a common mistake, since Onslaught grants spell immunity. The real dynamic happens after the charge connects. Treant Protector makes it hard for the Beast to follow up by applying constant slows with Leech Seed and Nature's Grasp, letting allies create distance. Overgrowth is still excellent for locking Primal Beast down after he has committed, allowing your team to turn on him. However, none of this stops Primal Beast from deleting a single target with his initial burst. If he gets the jump on a core and secures a quick kill with Pulverize, Treant’s reactive slows won't be enough to salvage the fight.
