Head-to-head Dota 2 7.41f win rate from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Skywrath Mage wins the Puck vs Skywrath Mage matchup: Skywrath Mage beats Puck in 53.71% of 14,603 ranked matches.
Rethinking your first major item is common when playing Puck against a Skywrath Mage. The matchup's dynamic hinges on Skywrath Mage's instant silence. Landing Ancient Seal on Puck is so effective because it prevents the use of Phase Shift or Illusory Orb to escape. This threat alone can dictate the flow of a teamfight, forcing Puck to play from the edges or wait for the silence to be used on another target. While Puck has the tools to win the engagement if they can initiate first, the constant risk of being caught and silenced gives Skywrath a reliable edge in skirmishes and ganks.
