Puck vs Snapfire

How this matchup plays

Trying to take over the map as Puck relies on finding solo pickoffs, but running into a Snapfire can stop that plan cold. Snapfire's Firesnap Cookie offers a simple, targeted stun that's hard for Puck to dodge, unlike a skillshot. It can interrupt Illusory Orb's travel or force an early Phase Shift. This lockdown, even if brief, is often enough for her team to follow up. Furthermore, Mortimer Kisses creates large, dangerous zones that make it difficult for Puck to re-engage or escape a fight, limiting the hero's mobility and forcing them to play from the edges.

As the game progresses, this dynamic means Puck has to be much more careful about initiating. A Puck that would normally be hunting supports is now hesitant to jump in if Snapfire is nearby, slowing down their economic and tempo advantage from kills. While Puck can certainly still outmaneuver Snapfire by waiting for her to use her spells or catching her out of position, the constant threat she poses makes Puck's job harder. Puck is forced to play a more reactive and patient game than preferred, which can slightly stall out the hero's key timings.
