How this matchup plays

Getting hooked by Pudge can feel very different depending on the situation. If Ursa is caught alone and out of position, he's an easy kill. But if Ursa is ready to fight, a hook can give him a free gap-closer onto a priority target. Pudge’s Dismember offers some control, but Ursa can often dispel the stun with Enrage, turning the gank attempt completely around. This core interaction makes their duels highly dependent on cooldowns and positioning, with neither hero having a reliable way to dominate the other. Pudge provides initiation, but Ursa has the tools to punish that initiation if it's not perfectly executed.
