Queen of Pain vs Clockwerk

How this matchup plays

Catching Queen of Pain with a Hookshot is only half the battle. Her Blink allows her to escape Power Cogs immediately after the initial stun wears off, denying Clockwerk the prolonged lockdown and damage from Battery Assault that he relies on to secure kills. For the gank to work, Clockwerk's team needs to provide instant follow-up damage or another stun during that brief window. Otherwise, Queen of Pain simply repositions and can turn the fight, leaving an isolated Clockwerk in a bad spot.

This creates a cat-and-mouse dynamic throughout the game. Queen of Pain wants to play aggressively but has to respect the threat of a Hookshot coming from the fog. A patient Clockwerk will try to hold his ultimate until after she uses Blink offensively, leaving her exposed. The outcome of any engagement often comes down to which player makes the first mistake or whose team has better vision and coordination. Neither hero can reliably force a kill on the other without significant help or a major positioning error.
