Queen of Pain vs Undying

How this matchup plays

Drafting Queen of Pain into an Undying is a tough sell because their kits are at total odds. Queen of Pain wants to execute a target with a quick spell combo and escape, but Undying excels at creating long, messy brawls that she can't survive. His Decay steals strength, which makes a fragile intelligence hero like QoP incredibly easy to kill the moment she blinks aggressively. A single Tombstone can completely ruin her plan, as the zombies slow her down and body block, preventing a clean escape after she commits Sonic Wave. She simply lacks the sustained damage to deal with the tomb and its spawns.

This conflict forces Queen of Pain to play passively all game. She can't initiate teamfights confidently because Undying's Flesh Golem amplifies all incoming damage, which can get her killed instantly even if she has backup. Instead, she is reduced to waiting on the sidelines, trying to pick off stragglers or using her spells from a safe distance. Undying's team can play very aggressively, knowing their core teamfight spells neutralize a primary enemy initiator. As long as Undying is grouped with his team, QoP struggles to find any good opening to use her kit effectively.
