Head-to-head Dota 2 7.41f win rate from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Riki wins the Riki vs Viper matchup: Riki beats Viper in 54.44% of 27,407 ranked matches.
Dropping a Smoke Screen on top of Viper completely shuts him down. He can't cast Nethertoxin to break your invisibility, and he can't use Viper Strike to slow you down. He's stuck in the cloud with a high miss chance while Riki gets free backstabs. This dynamic plays out across the entire game. Viper is a slow hero who wants to farm a lane by himself, making him a predictable and juicy target for a roaming Riki. Without a reliable way to see Riki coming or lock him down once he's on top of him, Viper gets picked off repeatedly before his team can respond.

These rows use the last 30 days of quality-filtered ranked matches, all patches in that span combined — a wider window than the patch-scoped count above, so the per-rank match totals can exceed it.
