Ringmaster vs Snapfire

How this matchup plays

Saving an ally from Ringmaster's hypnotic pull is often as simple as a well-aimed Firesnap Cookie. This one interaction can foil Ringmaster's primary method of isolating a target. Beyond that direct counterplay, Snapfire's general kit is good at breaking up stationary setups. Ringmaster wants to control an area with his traps and tricks, but Snapfire can sit far outside that zone and bombard it with Mortimer Kisses. This forces his team to either reposition or endure heavy damage and slows, making it difficult for Ringmaster to execute his preferred fight plan.

Throughout the game, Snapfire's presence limits Ringmaster’s options. During the laning phase, she can easily save her core from a gank attempt, and her own damage is a constant threat. In larger teamfights, her job is often to wait for Ringmaster to commit his control spells and then use her Cookie to rescue the primary target. Ringmaster can still be effective by baiting out her spells or focusing someone else, but Snapfire having a reliable answer to his signature move gives her a consistent, if small, advantage across most stages of the game.
