Ringmaster vs Spirit Breaker

How this matchup plays

Getting charged from across the map creates a difficult situation for Ringmaster. He wants to orchestrate fights with his traps and hypnotic abilities, but Spirit Breaker's Charge of Darkness lets him show up unexpectedly and break that control. Even if Ringmaster lands a disable, Bulldoze can reduce its effect, making Spirit Breaker difficult to pin down and burst. The constant threat of a gank can disrupt Ringmaster's entire setup before it even gets going, forcing him to play around an enemy he can't always see.

This pressure means Ringmaster has to play with more caution throughout the game. He can't afford to be out of position to place a deep trap or start a pull on an enemy, as Spirit Breaker can punish it from anywhere. This often forces Ringmaster to use his escape abilities defensively to survive a charge, rather than offensively to make a play. While a well-timed trap or a quick escape can certainly turn a gank around, Spirit Breaker tends to dictate the terms of engagement, forcing a reactive posture from a hero who would rather be the one pulling the strings.
