Sand King vs Tiny

How this matchup plays

Thinking you can blow up Sand King with the Avalanche-Toss combo often backfires. Once the initial stun lands, Sand King can frequently survive and disappear into Sand Storm, making him untargetable for any follow-up. This forces Tiny to either wait it out or switch targets completely. Meanwhile, Sand King is free to channel Epicenter inside the storm, turning a gank attempt into a disaster for Tiny’s team. He can then use Burrowstrike to escape or re-engage on his own terms, leaving a spell-less Tiny vulnerable.

Across the game, Sand King aims to punish Tiny's lack of mobility and long cooldowns. Laning against Caustic Finale is a headache for a melee hero, and in teamfights, Tiny becomes a prime target for a full Epicenter once his burst is spent. Tiny’s best bet is to ignore Sand King and focus on deleting a key support before Sand Storm can come out.
