Silencer vs Tiny

How this matchup plays

A Tiny trying to land his full combo finds himself completely undone by Silencer’s kit. Every part of Tiny’s game plan, from the Avalanche-Toss sequence to blinking in for a pickoff, relies on an uninterrupted burst of spells. Silencer denies this at every turn. Arcane Curse punishes Tiny for starting his combo, and Last Word can stop it before it even begins. More importantly, Global Silence is a direct counter to Tiny’s initiation, saving any ally he tries to throw or turning his own gank attempt into a suicide mission.

From the laning stage onward, Silencer pressures Tiny’s limited mana pool and makes his life difficult. A Tiny player is forced to build and play around Global Silence's cooldown, often unable to make a move for fear of being silenced and focused down after blinking in. He has to wait for the ultimate to be used elsewhere or hope he can get his Black King Bar off in time. The Silencer player, meanwhile, can often hold his ultimate specifically for Tiny's initiation, effectively neutralizing the hero's main purpose in a teamfight.
