Wraith King vs Snapfire

How this matchup plays

Trying to burst down a Wraith King feels like a waste of time for Snapfire. She has plenty of damage in her kit to secure the first kill, especially with a full Mortimer Kisses salvo. The problem is Reincarnation. Once Wraith King gets back up, Snapfire has already used her biggest cooldowns and has little left to offer. He can then close the distance with Wraithfire Blast and start hitting her team while she's helpless to stop him, effectively turning her own burst against her team by wasting it.

This forces Snapfire to make a difficult choice in every fight. She can either ignore the primary threat running at her backline, or she can commit her entire arsenal to kill Wraith King once, leaving her team to deal with his second life. His teammates can play off this, knowing their carry is an unappealing target for Snapfire’s ultimate. The best she can do is try to kite and focus on his supports, but that's difficult when Wraith King is built to be durable and stick to targets.
