Snapfire vs Treant Protector

How this matchup plays

Clearing out patches of forest with Scatterblast makes life difficult for Treant Protector. So much of his game plan relies on using Nature's Guise to stay invisible in the trees, scout, and find the perfect angle for an Overgrowth. Snapfire can consistently destroy his cover from a safe distance, forcing him into the open where he is much more vulnerable. Firesnap Cookie can also be used to push him out of position or to save an ally he has rooted. This constant threat of being exposed makes it hard for Treant to initiate fights on his own terms.

The matchup isn't one-sided, because Treant can still have a huge impact from across the map with Living Armor, keeping his team sustained regardless of his own lane. A good Treant player will try to avoid direct confrontations with Snapfire and focus on ganking other lanes. However, when the teams group up, Snapfire's ability to control space by removing trees gives her team a slight but clear advantage. She can systematically dismantle the areas where Treant is strongest, making it much easier to focus him down or simply ignore his initiation potential.
