Snapfire vs Vengeful Spirit

How this matchup plays

Trying to channel Mortimer Kisses from the backline feels very uncomfortable against a Vengeful Spirit. Her Nether Swap is a direct answer, able to pull Snapfire out of position and instantly cancel the channel. This isn't her only tool, either. A well-timed Magic Missile can also interrupt the ultimate from range, forcing Snapfire to invest in spell immunity much sooner than she might want. Wave of Terror can also give vision on Snapfire as she tries to find a safe angle, taking away the element of surprise from her biggest teamfight spell.

This dynamic shapes mid-game fights. The Snapfire player has to constantly track Vengeful Spirit's position and cooldowns before committing to an ultimate, often leading to missed opportunities or delayed impact. The Vengeful Spirit player has a clear, relatively simple objective: wait for the kisses to start, then use Swap. This constant pressure forces Snapfire into more defensive item choices or puts the burden on her teammates to specifically zone Venge out, giving Venge's team a consistent edge in engagements.
