Sven vs Undying

How this matchup plays

Trying to farm a lane against Undying is a frustrating task for Sven. Each Decay cast saps Sven's strength, making him easier to kill and weakening his last hits. A well-placed Tombstone is even worse; Sven has no efficient way to clear the zombies by himself early on, forcing him to either abandon the creep wave or get swarmed by slows. This constant pressure from Undying can seriously delay Sven's item timings and make it difficult for him to establish any presence in the lane.

This pressure continues into teamfights. Sven's plan is always to use God's Strength to delete a key target, but Undying's abilities make that much harder. Flesh Golem amplifies all incoming damage, meaning Sven can be burst down faster than he expects, even with Warcry active. Tombstone remains a huge problem, creating chaos that can stop a push or turn a fight even if Sven himself has BKB on. Sven can still win the fight by getting a quick kill, but Undying makes his job consistently more difficult from start to finish.
