Techies vs Vengeful Spirit

How this matchup plays

Nether Swapping a core out of a mine stack can completely undo Techies’ work, turning a kill into a save. Vengeful Spirit can also use it to punish a deep Blast Off!, pulling Techies into her team to die. On the flip side, Vengeful Spirit is extremely fragile. A single Sticky Bomb or an unseen Proximity Mine is often enough to kill her before she can react. Her Wave of Terror can give her team some warning about minefields, but using it to scout can put her in a dangerous position, making the exchange a constant risk for both sides.

This dynamic creates a game of cat and mouse across the map. Techies wants to control space and force Vengeful Spirit to make a mistake, while Venge wants to enable her team and be ready with the life-saving swap. If her team plays with good vision and respects the mine signs, they can limit Techies' impact significantly. If Techies' team can find Venge out of position or force a fight away from her carries, her utility is neutralized. It really comes down to which side dictates the terms of engagement.
