Treant Protector vs Ursa

How this matchup plays

Running at a target as Ursa feels difficult when a Treant Protector is in the game. Ursa relies on getting close and staying there, but Treant's abilities are designed to stop that. Leech Seed is a constant slow and drain that makes it harder to stick to a kill target. More importantly, Overgrowth can root Ursa even after he has activated his magic immunity, completely wasting his window of opportunity to burst someone down. It doesn't stop his damage, but it stops his movement, which is often enough.

This dynamic shapes the entire game. Ursa wants to find isolated targets to build up Fury Swipes, but Treant's global presence with Living Armor can mitigate that early burst. In teamfights, Ursa has to be mindful of Overgrowth's cooldown. He can try to bait it out or go for a kill so fast that Treant can't react, perhaps with an early Blink Dagger or a Nullifier to strip away defensive buffs. Still, Treant forces Ursa to play on his terms, creating a persistent, if not overwhelming, obstacle.
