Undying vs Weaver

How this matchup plays

Slipping away with Shukuchi is how Weaver survives, but Undying's whole kit makes that difficult. Tombstone zombies will chase Weaver down relentlessly, revealing his position even while he's invisible and making him an easy target. More importantly, Decay steals strength with every cast. A couple of hits from that spell make the already fragile Weaver incredibly easy to burst down, even if he manages to use Time Lapse. Undying simply creates a dangerous, slowing battlefield that Weaver can't safely navigate, and he directly counters Weaver's low health pool.

This matchup is a problem for Weaver from the very start of the lane. Undying can bully him out with Decay spam, making it hard to get any farm. Later in teamfights, a good Tombstone placement completely ruins Weaver's game plan. Instead of flanking and dealing damage, he's forced to either run from an army of zombies or try to hit a high-health structure while the enemy team focuses him. Weaver's best bet is to play on the opposite side of the map from Undying, but that's a huge concession that Undying forces him to make.
