How Underlord and Morphling perform as teammates in Dota 2 7.41f, from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Underlord and Morphling win 47.06% of ranked matches when playing on the same team, over 11,271 matches.
Using Fiend's Gate to relocate for a gank can be a decent play, but it doesn't solve the core issue that these heroes often want to be in different places. Morphling excels at split-pushing and finding solo pick-offs, using his mobility to stay safe. Underlord, on the other hand, wants to group with his team, applying pressure with Firestorm and creating a messy frontline. While a good Pit of Malice can certainly set up a kill for Morphling, it's not the kind of dedicated lockdown he needs to feel secure. Ultimately, their game plans don't overlap much, leaving each to execute their own strategy without much direct support from the other.
