Underlord + Muerta

Why this works

Pairing these two heroes often creates a clash in game plan from the very start. Underlord’s greatest strength is using Fiend's Gate to mobilize the team for aggressive rotations, objective takes, or escapes. He wants to force the issue and bring his allies with him. Muerta, however, is a carry who needs dedicated time and space to farm her core items. While she appreciates the lockdown from Pit of Malice, being pulled across the map for early fights disrupts her farming rhythm and can significantly delay her ability to carry the game.

This tension plays out across the mid-game. An Underlord who uses his ultimate to make plays might be forcing a fight with an underfarmed Muerta, who would rather be hitting creeps. If the team instead plays passively to give her space, then Underlord's map-wide mobility is largely wasted. They can function together in late-game teamfights once Muerta has her items, but getting there is often awkward. The team is frequently caught between wanting to play fast to suit Underlord's kit and needing to play slow for their carry.
