Underlord + Wraith King

Why this works

Fighting into this duo is exhausting. Underlord provides exactly what Wraith King needs to dominate teamfights: area control. Pit of Malice locks down multiple enemies, preventing them from kiting the king and letting his skeletons close in. Meanwhile, Atrophy Aura weakens enemy cores, making it even harder to burn through Wraith King's first life. The enemy spends huge cooldowns to secure one kill, only for him to rise again with Reincarnation while Underlord controls the area with Firestorm. It's a simple front-to-back strategy that's very difficult to crack.

This pairing hits a powerful mid-game timing and aims to run at the enemy. Underlord can pressure a lane, forcing reactions, and then Wraith King joins to take an objective. They are both so durable that they can siege high ground together effectively. The typical response is to split the map and avoid five-on-five fights, but Underlord's Fiend's Gate makes it difficult to escape a forced engagement. Ganking either hero is also tough, as both are resilient and can stall until help arrives.
