Alchemist + Ember Spirit

Why this works

Getting these two cores online together requires the whole map. Alchemist's entire game plan revolves around accelerating his farm to get ahead, and a key part of that is gifting an Aghanim's Scepter. When that Scepter goes to an Ember Spirit, it gives him a major power spike with extra Fire Remnants for mobility and damage. This can let the duo create a strong mid-game push, with Alchemist providing a durable front line using Chemical Rage while Ember Spirit weaves through the fight with Sleight of Fist and his lockdown.

This strategy is fragile, however, because both heroes are greedy and need a lot of resources. If the early game goes poorly, Alchemist struggles to farm, which delays the Scepter and leaves Ember feeling underpowered. Opponents will focus on shutting down Alchemist, knowing it slows down two heroes at once. The success of this pairing often depends on the support players creating enough space for Alchemist to get his early items. If that space isn't there, the duo's timing can fall apart before it ever gets started, making the outcome uncertain.
