Why this works

The main plan here often revolves around Alchemist farming an Aghanim's Scepter for Marci. A faster Scepter can give Marci a significant power spike during Unleash, allowing her to be more disruptive in mid-game fights. With Marci creating pressure on the map, Alchemist can sometimes find the space he needs to farm his own core items. In theory, Marci's ability to throw enemies with Dispose also sets up for Alchemist's Unstable Concoction, offering a potential stun chain if they coordinate their movements well.

However, these heroes can pull in opposite directions. Marci excels at early rotations and constant fighting, while Alchemist needs a period of uninterrupted farm to accelerate his economy. If the enemy team plays aggressively and successfully pressures Alchemist, the whole plan is delayed and Marci's mid-game potential is diminished. The game then hinges on whether Marci can create enough space on her own, or if the enemy team can punish Alchemist's greed before he comes online. This makes the success of the duo very conditional on how the early game unfolds.
