Why this works

Thinking Alchemist needs his team to sit back and protect him is the wrong way to look at it. He thrives when his team creates chaos, and that's exactly what Night Stalker does. The moment the sun sets, Night Stalker's hunt begins, forcing enemies to react to his aggression across the map. He can run down targets and silence them with Crippling Fear, drawing attention and rotations away from wherever Alchemist is farming. This isn't passive space; it’s an active, map-wide distraction that leaves Alchemist free to accelerate his farm with Greevil's Greed completely uncontested.

This early pressure means the enemy team has to group up for safety, conceding map control and farm. By the time they can organize to shut down Night Stalker, Alchemist is already a major threat with a massive item lead. With Chemical Rage active, Alchemist becomes the new frontline monster, while Night Stalker continues to control vision and pick off stragglers. The enemy is forced into a terrible choice: either stay together and fall further behind economically, or spread out and risk getting isolated and killed one by one. The tempo these two create together is often overwhelming.
