Alchemist + Ogre Magi

Why this works

Casting Bloodlust on Alchemist speeds up his farm and makes him a much bigger threat once he has Chemical Rage. The move speed and attack speed from Ogre Magi's buff are exactly what Alchemist wants to accelerate his item timings and stick to targets in a fight. The real high roll is getting a Multicast on Bloodlust, which can turn Alchemist into a raid boss for its duration. This simple interaction forms the core of the duo's game plan: make the carry hit faster.

However, the strategy is fairly one-dimensional and predictable. While Ogre Magi provides a reliable stun with Fireblast and is a tanky frontliner, he doesn't offer much to protect Alchemist from coordinated ganks before he comes online. A team can often identify the game plan and focus all their resources on shutting down the Alchemist, knowing the duo lacks strong defensive saves or broader teamfight control. This leaves the outcome dependent on whether Alchemist can get his items before the enemy team can punish his greed.
