How Alchemist and Queen of Pain perform as teammates in Dota 2 7.41f, from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Alchemist and Queen of Pain win 45.45% of ranked matches when playing on the same team, over 12,137 matches.
Thinking these two heroes will trip over each other competing for farm is a common mistake. In practice, Alchemist's extreme farming speed with Greevil's Greed forces the enemy team to react to him, which opens up the map. This gives a slippery hero like Queen of Pain plenty of room to hunt for solo kills. Their ganking threat also aligns well; Alchemist can lead a charge with Unstable Concoction, giving Queen of Pain a perfect setup for her burst damage. While the eventual Aghanim's Scepter is a nice bonus, their real value together comes from applying pressure from two different angles at the same time.
