Alchemist + Silencer

Why this works

Expecting Global Silence to be a perfect setup for Alchemist can be misleading. While Silencer’s ultimate can create a window for Alchemist to land a full Unstable Concoction, their game plans often conflict. Alchemist needs to spend long periods farming alone to accelerate his net worth, but Silencer is usually looking to be active on the map as soon as his ultimate is ready. They simply aren't always in the same place at the same time to execute the combo. This disconnect means the theoretical setup doesn't happen as often as you might think.

The result is that both heroes tend to play their own game. Silencer provides a defensive Global Silence to save a teammate or uses it to initiate a fight that Alchemist may not even be present for. Alchemist focuses on his timings, giving out Aghanim's Scepters and preparing to carry the late game. By the time Alchemist is ready to fight with the team, Silencer's contribution is a generic teamfight ultimate that helps everyone equally, not something that specifically empowers Alchemist over any other carry. Their success relies more on individual performance than any real partnership.
