Why this works

Giving Ursa a free Aghanim's Scepter can feel like the whole point of this draft, but the two heroes often want to play the game at different speeds. Alchemist's plan requires a lot of safe space to farm up his core items and the Scepter itself. He naturally wants the game to be passive and drawn out. This directly conflicts with Ursa, whose entire strength profile is built around early aggression, forcing fights, and snowballing off kills with Fury Swipes. One hero wants to farm the map while the other wants to fight over it, creating a fundamental tension.

This conflict usually means the team has to pick a pace, and either choice feels a little wrong. Playing slowly for Alchemist's sake means Ursa misses his most important timing window and risks falling off before he can have a real impact. Playing aggressively for Ursa's benefit can pull Alchemist into fights before he is ready, slowing his farm and delaying the very items the team is counting on him to provide. The game often feels like you're trying to fit a square peg in a round hole, where neither hero gets to play to their full potential.
