Axe + Spirit Breaker

Why this works

Catching a single hero out of position becomes incredibly simple. Spirit Breaker's Charge of Darkness provides the long-distance initiation and the initial stun for Axe to close the gap. Once Axe lands a Berserker's Call, the target is completely helpless. This lockdown chain is usually more than enough for the two of them to secure a kill, especially once Axe has Culling Blade ready. The setup is reliable and doesn't require complex timing; Spirit Breaker hits, and Axe follows up on the stunned target. It’s a classic pickoff strategy that works against almost any hero.

This forces the enemy team to play clumped together for safety, which is exactly what Axe wants. A five-man group is a perfect target for a multi-hero Call. If the enemy tries to spread out to farm, Spirit Breaker and Axe can hunt them down across the entire map, creating constant pressure and starving them of resources. The opponent has to choose between giving up farm or giving up kills, and either way, your team gains a significant lead heading into the mid-game teamfights.
