Axe + Weaver

Why this works

Catching multiple heroes in a Berserker's Call demands immediate, heavy follow-up damage. Weaver is not built for this; his strength is sustained damage and mobility from Shukuchi, not front-loaded burst. When Axe finds a perfect multi-hero taunt, Weaver simply lacks the tools to help blow up those targets before they can retaliate. Furthermore, Weaver's own ultimate, Time Lapse, is purely selfish and provides no way to bail out an Axe who has committed and is being focused. They fundamentally want different things from a fight.

This disconnect plays out across the game. Axe wants to force a decisive teamfight around an objective, while Weaver is often happier looking for solo pick-offs or applying pressure to a different lane. Opponents can easily exploit this by separating them. The enemy team can either commit everything to burst Axe down before Weaver's damage becomes relevant, or they can bring lockdown for Weaver and ignore Axe's initiation altogether. The pairing rarely gets to execute a clean game plan, leading to reactive and often disjointed fights.
