Batrider + Faceless Void

Why this works

Catching someone in Chronosphere makes it awkward for Batrider to follow up. Since the sphere freezes allies, Batrider has to either stay outside and risk his own safety to cast Lasso, or get caught himself. The alternative, with Batrider initiating with Lasso first, is safer but can feel redundant. You're layering two of the game's strongest single-target lockdowns on top of each other, which is often overkill for one kill. This means one of your two biggest cooldowns could have been used for something else.

Both heroes want to control the game's tempo with their ultimates, but they're often looking for different kinds of fights. Faceless Void wants to trap multiple enemies to win a fight outright, while Batrider excels at creating a numbers advantage by picking one person off before the fight begins. While their spells can combine for a guaranteed kill, their overall game plans don't always line up. This can lead to moments where their timings are off, making their powerful ultimates feel less impactful together than they do when paired with other heroes.
