Batrider + Lina

Why this works

Trying to land Light Strike Array on a target being dragged by Flaming Lasso is a classic setup for failure. Batrider pulls a hero out of position, but the movement is constant and erratic, making it nearly impossible for Lina to time her delayed stun. This core interaction actively works against itself. Instead of a guaranteed setup, the combo relies on guesswork. The result is often a missed stun, forcing Lina to use Laguna Blade on a target that isn't locked down, allowing them a window to use defensive items or escape once the drag ends.

The awkwardness of their main gank combo undermines their entire game plan. Both Batrider and Lina need successful early kills to build momentum, but their inability to chain spells reliably means those kills are never guaranteed. An enemy support can often save the Lassoed target with a simple Force Staff or Glimmer Cape before Lina can land her damage. This leaves both heroes feeling underpowered; one initiates without proper follow-up, and the other has a full suite of burst damage with no consistent way to apply it.
