Batrider + Necrophos

Why this works

Lassoing a target for a Reaper's Scythe seems like a simple plan, but the execution can be awkward. By the time Batrider drags an enemy into the team, the ideal window for Necrophos to cast may have already passed, or the target might be dead from allied burst damage. Using both ultimates on the same hero can also be an over-commitment. If the fight is about more than a single pickoff, dedicating two key spells to one kill can leave your team without answers for the remaining enemies.

Their preferred positioning during fights often puts them at odds. Batrider is an initiator who dives deep to find a target. Necrophos plays a more patient game from the back lines, sustaining his team and waiting for an enemy to get low. A successful Lasso frequently doesn't even need the Scythe to secure a kill, making the follow-up feel redundant. Conversely, when Necrophos needs his ultimate for a different high-priority hero, Batrider's initiation can be left without its expected punchline. The combo requires a lot of coordination to be consistently effective.
