Why this works
Playing against this duo often feels less threatening than it should. Brewmaster excels at causing chaos and isolating targets, especially once he uses Primal Split. This forces enemies to scatter and deal with his individual spirits. Leshrac, on the other hand, needs enemies to stay grouped up so he can maximize the damage from abilities like Pulse Nova and Diabolic Edict. When Brewmaster splits, Leshrac's ideal fight is ruined. He suddenly has no clumped-up targets, leaving him to chase a single hero or awkwardly try to hit a spirit. Their primary teamfight goals actively work against one another, leading to inefficient and disjointed engagements.
