Why this works

Spamming Quill Spray and Nasal Goo is how Bristleback wins his lane, and Keeper of the Light’s Chakra Magic directly enables that game plan. The extra mana and cooldown reduction let Bristleback stack his spells much faster than he normally could, building up Warpath stacks and running down opponents who can't get away from the constant slows. This can create a lot of pressure on a safe lane carry who lacks an early escape mechanism. The goal is to build an early lead off this constant harassment, forcing rotations and creating space for the rest of your team.

However, the duo lacks reliable stuns. An enemy with a good escape can often survive the pressure, and a support with a hard disable can turn the aggression around. Keeper of the Light is also a very fragile target who needs to stay far back, while Bristleback wants to dive deep into the enemy lines. This positional difference can be exploited by teams that can jump the back line, killing the mana source and leaving Bristleback overextended and alone. The success of the lane really depends on whether the enemy can punish this one-dimensional aggression.
