Bristleback + Leshrac

Why this works

Both heroes want to occupy the same space on the map and in a fight. Bristleback and Leshrac are both greedy cores who need farm to become durable damage dealers that run at the enemy. They don't set each other up well. Leshrac needs enemies held in place for his damage, which Bristleback doesn't provide. Bristleback wants a support who can enable his aggression or save him, not another core who also needs to be at the center of the fight. This overlap means they're often competing for farm and attention, rather than complementing each other's kits.

The game plan feels awkward as a result. Instead of a coordinated assault, fights often look like two separate heroes trying to do the same job. The enemy team can usually choose to focus one down without the other being able to effectively intervene. Without reliable lockdown from either hero, targets can simply walk away from Leshrac's area damage or kite Bristleback. Success relies more on the enemy making a mistake and clumping up than it does on this duo's inherent strengths, making the outcome of any engagement feel unpredictable.
