Bristleback + Morphling

Why this works

Creating space for a carry is tricky when both cores want to fight on different terms. Bristleback thrives in long, messy brawls where he can get his spells off repeatedly and force the enemy to deal with him. He wants the whole enemy team to turn and hit his back. Morphling, on the other hand, prefers a cleaner fight. He wants to find an isolated hero, burst them down quickly, and then reposition. The chaos Bristleback creates isn't the kind of setup that helps a Morphling land a safe kill, as it lacks hard stuns or control.

In practice, this means enemy teams can often ignore Bristleback for a few crucial seconds to collapse on the much more fragile Morphling. Bristleback can’t really peel for his carry; his main tool is running at people, which doesn't stop a coordinated dive. While Morphling can sometimes get a pick before the fight breaks down, he's often left exposed while his frontline partner is busy being a nuisance somewhere else. The duo's success often relies on the enemy making a mistake and focusing the wrong hero first.
